Last Leaf Standing is hand dyed yarn on the base of your choosing. Many who love fall love how the leaves change color on the trees and of course in the pacific northwest we still have quite a bit of green with all of the evergreens. I always tend to spot the last couple green leaves on the trees since they do stick out in the sea or orange, yellow and red. A tonal green that would look wonderful in a colorwork sweater.
This yarn is hand dyed to order and will ship within 7 to 10 business days.
* Please note that this is subject to change based on influx of orders. I will announce in my shop announcements if there is a time frame delay.
The photos you see are a few skeins from the dye session you are purchasing. The skein you receive will not look exactly like this photo as each skein is hand dyed by applying the dyes artistically. Regardless of being the same colorway and name they are each unique, and may vary by having more or less of each of the colors. If you are making a multi-skein item, I strongly recommend alternating skeins.
While I try my best to take photos to accurately represent the colors, each computer/mobile device varies in colors. If you have any questions about color/photos please message me.
Each skein is hand dyed with professional acid dyes and heat set. I wash the yarns in wool wash and rinse to make sure that the dye has set. Even with this process, you may get minimal bleeding on the first few washes.
Dyed and stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
While this is superwash merino and you could machine wash gentle and tumble dry low, I always recommend hand washing with mild soap or wool wash and lay flat to dry to ensure a long life of hand knits.
I'd love to see your hand knit projects. Please use #theperfectstitchfibreco so I can what projects you use with this yarn!
